When we first started brewing IPAs, they were considered an extreme style, only for hardcore beer nerds. (Like, say, us.) Today, they're the most popular style in craft beer and continuing to grow. We're proud of our role in fueling that revolution and thrilled with how the style has evolved over the years. Stone Hazy IPA comes in at an easy 6.7% and less bitter than our other IPAs, but still blooming with bold hop flavors. El Dorado and Azacca hops showcase a myriad of citrus and fruit elements while intense Sabro highlights the tropical notes of this beer. No fruit added, yet intensely juicy. The result of this unique hop combination is a creamy citrus bomb with tons of orange, lemon, melon, mango and pineapple flavors and aromas.

Pours hazy amber with a frothy white head. Aroma of nectarine. Taste has resinous pineapple, tropical fruits. Palate has hop oils, the Azteca and Sabro are new for me I believe and convey a vaguely peppery, over-ripe fruit element. Not bad.

0,33 can. Not much to say about the can. The beer is unfiltered, looks like cloudy pineapple juice, i.e. classic hazy. The head is normal, hard white. The aroma is citrusy, basic citrus-aroma hoppy. nothing special. The carbonation is restrained, the body is light, the alcohol is restrained (not) felt. Sour, peachy, pineappley, unfiltered fruit juice flavor, with medium hop bitterness. This hop use is not on the top for me, I have tasted much better NEIPAs. Of course, it was still delicious. However, it was also quite watery.

A dobozra sok szót nem érdemes vesztegetni. A sör szűretlen, zavaros ananászlé kinézetű, azaz klasszikus hazy. Hab normál, kemény fehér. Illat citrusos, alap-citrus-aroma komlós. semmi különös. Szénsav visszafogott, test könnyed, az alkohol visszafogottan (sem)érződik. Savanykás, barackos, ananászos, szűretlen gyümölcslé íz, közepes komló-keserűséggel. Nálam ez a komló-használat nincs a toppon, sokkal jobb NEIPA-kat kóstoltam már. Természetesen attól még finom. Viszont eléggé vizes is volt.

12oz can. Mild and thin bodied for the style. Drinks almost like a light beer. Sabro leads it in an awkward direction. Pretty weak offering by Stone standards of the past.

Can. Hazy amber beer with a cream head. Summer fruit and citrus aroma. Spice and tropical fruit flavor with citrus. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Spice and tropical fruit linger with citrus.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy pale amber, small head. Aroma of mango and passionfruit. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and bready with perfumy mango. Low bitterness.

355ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, golden colour with fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon pith, lemon peel, a touch of kumquat, yuzu, tangerine. Taste is citrusy fruity hoppy, minimally mineral and herbal, hints of lemon, lemon drops, lemon peel; lingering, mineral finish. Watery texture, dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Light, watery, Session IPA-like, neither juicy nor creamy, just hazy - so-so.

Tap@Skaal, Copenhagen (05/03/2022) - hazed yellow with a white head. Pineapple and melon, satsuma, juicy fruity, citrus rind, sweet caramel malty backbone with a medium body, bitter edged hoppy close. Fine.

0.33 l can from Spicy Days Webshop, Zagreb. Shared with little Dina. Hazy pale orange, small off-white head. Fruity, candy soapy aroma. Orange juice. White chocolate. A zesty touch. Light body, moderate to high carbonation, some bitterness. Zesty, slightly green, rough on the edges, fruit juice. Light body, soft, light finish.
