Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear golden with a small, white head. Clean, malty nose. Medium body, sweet, clean, pale malts with enough hops in the finish to avoid this getting sticky. 200126

Klare goldgelbe Farbe; kompakte, stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase klassisch, getreidig, hellmalzig, blumiger Hopfen. Im Geschmack wunderbar ausgeglichen, hellmalzig, getreidig, schöne Säure, leichte Süße und dezente Würzigkeit und blumig-hopfige Aromatik, mittlere Kohlensäure, schlanker Körper.

Bottle from Meibier. Aroma is grainy malt with notes of hay, soft noble hop. Flavour is light sweet and bitter with a hint of sourness that made me check the label to see if this was brewed with wheat. Medium body. Decent helles, not the cleanest but it has a nice 'ungespundet' aspect.

Gampertbräu Förster Hell, Flasche von Markgrafen, Münchberg. - Hellgelb, blank. - In der Nase blasses helles Malz und nur milde, leise zitronige und herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk schlank hellmalzig aber leicht ranzig. Feine Vanillesüße und schlanke zitronige Hopfung, die aber leider in beinahe derbe Bittere übergeht. Milder rezent, weich im Mund. Im Abgang schroffe, aromenleere Bittere von Hopfenextrakt. - Trotz weichen Wassers und angenehmer Malzigkeit kein echter Genuß, dafür ist die Hopfung zu billig ausgefallen. (3.9.2024.)

ABV: 4.4%. Clear medium yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, floral, light to moderate hoppy, grass, vegetables. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, hay - floral, sweet malt, pale malt, light grass. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20230105]
