25/2/2020. Tap at the Munich Tap House. Pours dark brown with a foamy off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, toffee, dark fruits, treacle and light smoke. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body. Not overpowering on the smoke. Good stuff.

330 ml bottle. Murky dark brown, big foamy head. Smoky notes, nuts, roasted malts, raisins, fudge, caramel. Malty sweetness, light bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, malty smoky finish. Very good!

Porter brown, huge beautiful fine head. Light caramel smoky spicy nose. Great spicy, almost dank coffee choco flavor with a hint of smoke, not overpowering. Fantastic smoke beer! Best I've had from Hopfenhacker.

Bottle picked up from the brewery and consumed at home Attenkirchen, Bavaria Sunday 14th April 2019 making the Thomasina Miers Chilli that I was supposed to make yesterday. Pours black well on closer inspection maybe very dark brown with a tan head. Chocolate (dark and light bitter) cocoa powder, light smokiness, but it really is nicely done. Very easy drinking, like a nice chocolate stout, doesn't taste 7.5%.

Bottled 330ml. -from Getränke Oase Munich. Almost black coloured, medium sized beige head, light smoke in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, notes of herbal hops and quite noticable alcohol in the finish. Discreet touch of smoke as well.
