Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Pours brown with a tall off-white head. Aroma is smoke, lots of malt, wood, chocolate. Body is heavy, quite sweet, with a soft smoke and a lot of chocolate. Low bitterness, getting more towards the palate. Bread crust, some burnt wood, smoke. Sweet palate, but not incredibly long. Good!

Tap at the brewery. Darkest brown, creamy lacing amber head. Roasted rye bread and hop aroma. Medium body, dry mouthfeel. Very pleasant roast flavor, dark chocolate, grain, light licorice and iodine. Good hop wallop in the back. Nice.

Tap. Darkest brown color with beige head. Aroma is grassy hops, roasted, earthy. Taste is smoked, earthy, chocolate, grassy-earthy hops, roasted aftertaste. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Very nice hoppy Baltic Porter (but almost Black IPL)!
