Roppelt Festbier aus Stiebarlimbach, Flasche von den Getränkerittern. - Rotgold, fast klar. Super! (29.11.2022.)

RB backlog, thanks SinH4. Honey, malts, some herbs, very clean. Medium sweet, a bit tart, light bitterness. Oily medium body with very natural carbonation. Nice lager with character.

Schnapp-Fläschla:Deep golden, bigger stable beaten-egg-white-like off-white head; sweetish malty to caramelly nose with both a slightly rural and herbal background; mild to moderate sweet and mildly bitter flavour, nearly medium bodied, really soft; lingering malty-nutty and mildly itter finish. A bit on the sweet side, but surely a goody from Stiebarlimbach...

(swing top bottle, 5.6% abv) Almost clear, deep golden colour with a medium-sized and off-white foamy head. Mildly biscuity and slightly nutty malty aroma with notes of toffee, traces of butter and a discreetly hoppy background. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Malt-accented, slightly mineralic taste with notes of toffee and butter; moderately sweet, slightly bitter and delicately salty/mineralic finish. Not the best brew of the Roppelt collection. 30.XI.17
