50 cl bottle. Golden color. Medium to small white head. Medium to short lasting retention. Grain , bread and malts aroma. Caramel ,bread , grass and malts flavor .Medium body. Medium carbo. Nothing fascinating but quite ok.

Mittelporige, mäßig stabile Schaumkrone, schönes hellmalzig-getreidiges Aroma mit etwas frischem Hopfen, im Geschmack ausgeglichen, malzig, leichte Süße, angenehm moderate Bittere im Nachtrunk. Insgesamt kein besonderes, aber ein höchst solides und süffiges Export.

Flesje gedronken bij Harrie. Goudgeel helder bier met weinig schuim dat meteen weg is. Aroma van mout. Smaak is zoet en moutig. Weinig nasmaak.

Gold with a thin, frothy, white head. Grainy, floral aroma with a bit of buttered white bread and cardboard. Taste is mildly caramel sweet, yeasty and bready. Dryer and grainy at the back, which is increasingly bitter. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Actually quite decent for the style.

On tap at Zum Franziskaner. Golden with a white head. Bread, grass, some grain and hints of caramel.

Fat på Zumen. Fin lager med relativt stor brödighet och rustikt sädig munkänsla. Blommig. Markerad beska.

Pours slightly darker than golden, transparent. One finger of quite dense white head. Good enough retention, little lacing. Nicely deep aroma, with quite good intensity as well. A nice base of freshly mown hay, with a bit of buttery feel to it (the delicate, pleasant butter, not the over the top one). Notes of flowers (chamomille especially), light honey, the slighest fruity hint (apple). Very classic helles aroma with a nice rustic touch. Taste is perhaps a bit less intense and defined: cereal malts base, light buttery undernote, hints of honey, flowers, perhaps the slightest hints of grassiness and fruitiness (apple). Medium sweetness with low to medium bitterness. Slight sweet edge in the mouth, perfectly balanced finish and aftertaste with a bit of fruity reminiscence. Again, pleasantly rustic. Light bodied with slightly sub-medium carbonation. Classic, super easy helles mouthfeel. Very nice one.
