(On tap) Very pretty chestnut brown with a small, creamy head. Malty, lightly smoked aroma. Notes of roasted and lightly burned malt. Short, dry, hoppy finish. Very drinkable. 290705

Draught at the brewpub. Mid brown. Very roasty and very dry with clean, hard mouthfeel and medium body. Some soapy hoppiness before a lingering salty finish.

Nut brown, tanned head. Toffeish, woody aroma, maybe even some diacetyl? Medium-bodied. A bit sweet, roasty, some oaky dry notes in the finish.

An amber beer with a small beige head. The aroma is smoked - giving it a slight tared rope character, but it also contains notes of caramel and toffee. The flavor is sweet and starting out on a caramel note, that turns "ropy" and slightly smoked, which gives it a dry end. The mouthfeel is very smooth. I’ll go back for this one.
