Bottle, thanks Martin! Clear dark brown colour, beige foam. Nose of toast, caramel, dark fruit, some light roastiness. Sweet, light bready, and fruity. Good Dunkler Bock.

Light cream-tan head, medium sized, over clear amber-chestnut coloured beer. Wood, bit of smoke, sweeter chocolate, chocolatecake or -cookies, bread, dark malts' galore. Sweet, bready, coloured malts, chocolate, dark leaves. Sweetness gradually evens out, leaving more leafy, almost herbal flavours. Medium bodied, quite slick; medium carbonation. Very classical dark Bock. Txs to Stef!

Auburn with a frothy, beige head that proves to be fleeting. Aroma of yeasty dark bread, red currant, toffee. Taste is mildly sweet, full of caramel and strong roasted flavors that grow stronger at the end. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Tasty.

Im Abgang milder Mokka und vornehme dunkle Malzbittere. - Gediegener malzbitterer dunkler Bock mit vornehm gedämpfter Süße und Tiefgang.

Bottle. Brown color with amber highlight and a creamy off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, rather sweet. Taste is chocolate, sweet berries, simple. Silky mouthfeel with high but soft carbonation. A bit too sweet for me, but hides the alcohol well, and still works out in its own way...

500ml Bottle - Dark brown with red tinges and a small head. Fruitcake, raisins and some grainy and chocolatey notes in the aroma. Raisins, marzipan; berries and some slightly spicy hints feature in the slightly sweet taste. A nice bock.
