Bottle, blend #21, august 2017, 5.3%. Color: Hazy yellow, straw, frothy white head. Aroma: Saison yeast, malt, fruity. Taste: Moderate tart, well balanced notes of citrus and stone fruit like orange and lemon peel, apricots and peaches, maybe also grapefruit. Yeasty hints, some funk, wood notes. Lightly vinuous. Pretty long lasting fruity finish. Medium to just below medium body, below average carbonation. light sweetness and moderate fruity bitterness. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Not that complex, but a lot of flavours to explore. Another very nice beer from Jester King. One for the warm summer months.

Bottle into a wineglass showing moderately filtered straw and sparse white foam. The nose shows clean moderately intense notes of saison malt. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Light notes of saison malt with a light pilsner bitterness on the finish.

Bottle, 0.75l, shared with Leo & Dasa. Aroma is musty, vinous, funky, citrusy and earthy. Pours hazy pale golden color with medium sized frothy white head and average sparkling appearance. Tastes refreshingly sour vinous, lactic, bready, slightly woody and funky. Medium body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Das Wunderking...

75cl bottle @ Coracle, Ironbridge. Pours misty gold, large foamy white head. Spicy wild fruity nose. Spritzy fine bubbles, funky citrussy leanings with wild brett, grapefruit, lemon finishing quite dry. Good well-rounded wild ale.

Draught @ Bells & Whistles. Quite pale, and with a bit of haze. Medium head. On the nose, some dried flowers and that sort of thing, a bit of yeast, light brett. Herbal, floral, with a honeyish note, again light brett. Fairly dry - clean and well-balanced, with a nice malt underpinning. A beer that you'd drink a lot of, if given the option.
