Backlog. From tap at Danske Ølentusiasters Ølfestival 2013 with JMD. Black. Brown head. Aroma of slightly smoked dark malt and pot ash. Taste of bitterness, pepper nuts (Pfeffernüsse) and juniper. Fine palate!

Draught @ Olfestival Kobenhavn 2013, Carlsberg TAP1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, Copenhagen V, Denmark. [ As Stronzo Mr. Papsø’s Sticky Rye ].Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, rye, sweet malt, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet sugary malt, perfumed malt, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20130523]

Draft @Fermentoren, Copenhagen. Pours a black color with a creamy tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and licorice aroma. Roasted malty licorice and chocolate flavor with hints of rye. Has a roasted malty chocolate and licorice finish.

(Draught at Fermentoren, Copenhagen, 13 July 2013) Black colour with lasting, creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with espresso, dark chocolate, crisp-bread, burnt sugar and liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with notes of sweet espresso, cocoa, liquorice, ketjap manis (sweet soy sauce), anise and a generous coffee/cocoa bitterness in the finish. Full body, with thick and oily texture. Sweet. Could get a bit sticky after a while, but in moderate amounts it’s quite lovely.

From tap at Fermentoren. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma is overripe fruity, roasted and chocolate. Dense fruity, roasted and light alcohol presence. Thick molasses base.
