The Albani Giraffe Beer was launched in August 1962 for the purpose of sponsoring a new giraffe for Albani's marketing after Kalle, the previous giraffe, had died. The Giraffe Beer was a success and enough was collected to acquire two new giraffes. The beer has a soft and aromatic taste, as well as a unique design.

A yellow beer with no head. The flavor is malty sweet with notes of alcohol. The flavor is very sweet and kind of artificial. It has powerful flavor with a lot of alcohol taste and it end on a slight bitterness - not nearly enough to balance the sweetness. An OK beer.

(Domestic Danish version). A quite acceptable strong Danish beer. Spicy, perfumed aftertaste.
