33cl bottle from trade with Fonefan, shared with Joes. Clear dark amber / dark red color, small off-white head that disappears quickly. Smells like paint, the fingerpaint you used as a kid, definitely barrel aged. Taste wood, very sweet, malts. Soft carbonation especially considering 10% ABV, medium body.

Brewed on my 42nd birthday - I hoped it would be for to honor me. Botled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of iodine, peated malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of iodine, caramel, and alcohol, leading to a dry iodine finish.

Bottle @ yespr tasting. Medium head with medium duration. Color is amber. Aroma is smoke and peat. Taste is sweet dried fruits, smoke, peat and caramel. Low carbonation. Why destroy good beer with whisky?

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a clear nutty brown with an off-white head. heavy - and disgusting - peat aroma overpowering everything else. Solid body, sweet caramellish with massive ashes and iodine from the peat barrel. Some warming alcohol in the finish. What a waste to ruin this Barley wine with a peat barrel. A match made in hell...230212
