Bottle picked up from somewhere, forgot where 😄. Had this Saturday 25th October 2025 cooking Lasagna and listening to Amyl and the Sniffers. Pours amber, slight haze, mid sized off white head. Initially I wasn't too struck by this but I persevered and it's fine, middling fruitiness, light malts, caramel, hoppiness and bitterness are very subtle, a little basic and only a few notches above homebrew.

500ml bottle. Minimally milky, reddish, dark amber colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, pale sulphureous to beige head. Spicy, minimally bready and toasty, minimally nutty, malty and minimally doughy yeasty aroma, hints of brown bread crust, a touch of beechnut. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty with additional toasty and minimally nutty aspects, hints of cola, a touch of malt lozenge, mildly bitter hoppy counterpart.
Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, dense, prickly carbonation.
Flattering sweetness, drinkable - nice.

Only beer from this Brauerei Gasthof. Tap. Malty aroma and flavor. Some caramel and licorice. Fairly low on carbon. Just a bit of rest sweetness. Lovely beer, albeit not entirely clean.
