Rerate fresh from tap at Ettaler Holzfass Festival. 8 3 8 3 13 Great citric Hops on a dry clove and banana base, mellow chewy. Light cherry, lime banana coco, lovely fruit basket. Old rating: 7 3 7 3 14 Bottle. Cloudy orange, offwhite cream. Fruity and perfumed aroma. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Fruitsalad entry, nice citric and flowery hop aromatics, minty notes - Polaris or Mandarina? Nice balance, ever so slightly tilted to the desert side.

500ml bottle. Hazy dark golden colour with average, frothy, white head. Slightly wheaty, fruity hoppy and yeasty aroma has notes of peach and apple, a herbal hoppy touch, minimally spicy, yeasty overtones. Taste is slightly fruity and minimally herbal hoppy, hints of apple, apple purée and oat flakes; satiable palate.

Hefiger kräuterartiger Beginn mit dezenter Säure. Frisch, die Intensität nimmt schnell ab. Mild herbes Finish. Guter Beginn, schlechter Verlauf. 11/9/8/7/7/8

Flasche von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin-Wedding. - Bernsteinfarben, reichlich sahniger Schaum.

Bouteille:Deep golden to orangey coloured, cloudy with a mid-sized creamy off-white head; pretty solid fruity-yeasty and wheaty nose, kind of Weizenbock-like; pretty full bodied, solid sweet and delicately sourish flavour; lots of dried fruits in the sweet orangey, yeasty and wheaty finish, balanced by a subdued acidity. Very good, tastes like a tamed Weizenbock…

Bottle from the Reading BF 2014 drunk in my hotel room. Hazy dark gold lasting white head. Estery aroma. It’s fine but a little light weight. Ok expected a bit more depth.

(bottle) Cloudy, golden colour with a big and firm cream-coloured foamy head. Yeasty and wheat-malty aroma with notes of apricot, banana, backed by citrus-fruity and delicately piney hops. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a well-carbonated creamy mouthfeel. Solid wheat-malty base with traces of caramel, vanilla and loads of complex fruity flavours, lingering into the lasting fruity and malty finish with a slightly resiny/piney hoppy bite. Excellent Weissbier-Märzen. 27.II.14
