Genuina e ancestrale, Vùdù si rifà alle birre scure di frumento della tradizione tedesca, le Dunkel Weizen. Seppur antica nel senso proprio del termine, questa birra è proiettata nel tempo oltre le mode e le stagioni. Morbida, vellutata e fragrante, conviviale e al tempo stesso meditativa, fa rivivere e rispettosamente celebra il classico bavarese.

Il naso riconosce sentori di orzo tostato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma color marrone chiaro ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine, con qualche bollicina grande. Il colore è nero come la pece. Il corpo è pieno. Il dolce è medio in buona armonia con l'amaro medio . La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di caramello, miele, frumento, frutta secca, erbaceo, agrumi, arancia, fico e banana.

Bottle 0,75ltr: Hazy brown coloured brew with an German appearance and Belgian taste, quite sweet due the caramelmalts, and hints of banana. Italian special beers its an league of their own.

Bottle from HoTM. It pours hazy deep brown with a small yellowy - beige head. The aroma is sweet, nutty, chocolate, cacao, overripe ripe banana banana bread, banana split and toasty accents. The taste is dry, toasty grain, bitter - sweet, overripe banana, banana bread, touch of warming spice, cacao, earthy and slightly herbal almost with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Decent stuff. Drinks well..

Tap at Birrifico Italiano, Milan, 18th October 22. Wow this is good, pours a murky dark brown, aroma is burnt sugar, brown sugar, caramel. Taste is burnt sugar coated bananas, barbecued, bitter, creme brûlée. Delicious beer

Bottle from Bruneck, says 6% vol. Medium to dark brown; very good head with fine bubbles. Nose has dried banana notes and roasted malt. The flavor is great, smooth with big mouthfeel, lightly sweet with yeast esters and banana. Brown sugar/caramel as well, nicely balanced light chocolate malt roasted notes. What a great beer!

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours a beautiful brown, with some yeast in suspension and fine whitish foam. Aroma is malty, yeasty, hazelnut. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is medium-high sweet, with delicate bitterness. Final is average, with just some sweetness.

Tap at Gar Eden. Dark weizen apparently and has a bit of the banana thing going on but more caramel. Light fruitiness too. Interesting and fairly easy drinking. Herbal at end. Bubblegum too. Nice.
