FWIBF. Pours with a hazy golden hued body over a white head. Aromas are grassy, sweet, citrusy, grapefruit, herbal and floral hops. Flavors are relatively sweet, grassy and citrusy with grapefruit pith. Mild caramel, medium bitter, lower carbonation and a bit heavy.

Bottle. A slighlty unclear, golden beer topped by a dense, light beige head leaving some lacings. The aroma has a light herbal touch, fruity and slightly malty, with peaches. A nice bitterness in the flavor, with fruityness and some maltyness. Soft, medium to full body with pleasant carbonation, and a nice bitterness in the end. A pleasant one indeed, easily drinkale and quite tasteful. 120914

Dieses Bier habe ich vor einigen Jahren gerunken -ich bin nicht sicher, ob es auf der Braukunst live 2013 oder 2014 war. Jetzt habe ich es tatsächlich in einem ukrainischen Supermarkt gefunden und verkoste es jetzt im heimalichen Wien. Damals war ich wirklich begeistert davon, jetzt war es mir einfach zu bitter. Es hatte nette aromatische Noten nach Zirusfrüchten und Maracuja, aber die brutale Bitterkeit war mir einfach zu stark, dass man es gemütlich trinken konnte. Etwas für Freunde von bitteren Bieren, aber es würde aromatischer rüberkommen, wenn es weniger hart wäre.

Big offwhite head. Hazy deep amber body with carbonation. Resiny freshly cut wood aroma with banana and tropical fruit notes. Dry-sweet resiny oily salty taste with yoghurty chalky banana notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry, and faintly acidic, tropical fruit and chalk aftertaste with wooden resiny spicy notes. Nice, drinkable, subtle and unusual.
