Köpt flaska i Braufactums butik vid Alexanderplatz, Berlin. Smak och doft av humle, malt, grön banan, mango, vete, blodapelsin med toner av citrusskal. Fruktig, lagom sötma, fin balans och beska. Gott!

21-03-18 // bottle from Braufactum OnlineShop. Hazy dark orange, solid head. Nose of mild berry fruitiness. Taste is medium sweet malty, fullbodied. Aromas of grapefruit and bloodorange. Definitely a yeasty touch. A soapy bitterness. Unbalanced.

0.33l bottle from marktkauf, 2.99€. pours a cloudy amber with a big steady dense head. aroma of banana, spruce, and pineapple. flavour of banana, spruce, rye bread, grass. kind of like schneider tap5 (hopfen-weisse), but somewhat more straightforward, less sweet and alcoholic. nice nevertheless.

Tap. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is citrus, a touch phenols, wheat, caramel, peppery, the hop character is similar to Hopfenweisse. Taste is earthy, wheat, leafy, High but soft carbonation. Fun, but the aroma is more inviting than the flavour can live up to.

Pours dirty amber from the bottle. An off-white, frothy finger thick head forms, lingering in reduced form for much of the duration. Aroma is banana with a light tropical fruit tinge. Or perhaps just citrus. Overall the aroma is restrained and hard to accurately place. This may be a cross between a Weizen and an IPA, but the bitter citric hop notes of the latter style win the taste battle, pushing the sweet banana notes into the background. The bitterness strengthens going into the finish, turns a bit raw, and ends with a light acidity. Medium bodied with adequate carbonation. Overall, not bad but there’s nothing that stands out and makes me what to drink another of these. Would like to have seen a richer, more flavorful bittersweet balance.

Cloudy orange, tall off-white head. Average retention. Aroma: white bread, nectar, tropical fruit, some spice, very cascade-like. Light body, oily. The flavour is nectary, some wheat, light to medium hoppy bitterness. The hops are actually rather dead from keepeng (the bottle is over a year old). Still pleasant.
