Sampled @ BKL 2018. A clear red brown beer with a mid sized good lasting beige head. Aroma of red malt, caramelish malt, some nuts. Taste of mild sweet caramelish malt, reddish malt, toffee.

On tap at Schiller, Munich. Cloudy dark golden with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with toffee, biscuit and black bread. Sweet malty flavour with a touch of dark sugar.

Tap. Hazy brown color with tan head. Aroma is brown malts, sugary, a bit farty, bready. Taste is sugary, farty, black bread. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not very good, but drinkable.

Draught @ the brewpub, Münich. Aroma is somewhat mild with some toffee and hay. Flavour has licorice, toffee, deep roastiness and toffee. Also licorice root and mild mineral tones. Makes me wonder how can one make such a good roasted flavour when the colour of the beer is just at the amber level. Miracles do happen, I guess.
