Almost black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and milk chocolate. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Dry and light vroasted bitter finish. 160711

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy aroma. Nice roaste notes. Moderate bitter nice roasted and chocolate flavor. Long moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malty, slight liqourice to dark malty. Liqourice, dark malty, breadish and hard roasted. Bitter and dark malty into the finish.

dark brown, smooth offwhite head 4 . Dark roasted malty aroma, sweet brown sugar, cigar?. Flavor is roasted malts, mild, watery, almost charchoal, but pretty weak.

Whole Foods Market, DC sic-pack ($10): Tan head over a black body. Roasted malts and dark roast coffee in the aroma. Taste is really bitter from the really roasted malts, but also rather smooth, which makes it still be quite drinkable. A little milky or creamy thing going down there as well. Very well-balanced. Not too heavy bodied. This could be easily sessioned.
