Medium white (?) head. Clear body of a colour I cannot see here in the dark. Roasty earthy wooden aroma with spicy licorice notes. Dry-sweet earthy roasty caramelly taste with chocolatey nougat notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish licorice and chocolatey aftertaste with earthy mealy notes. Nice, drinkable and vivid. (0.5l bottle, from Clarke’s, Whitby.)
