Our aromatic pilsner possesses a delicate malt flavor combined with a fine bitterness, derived from the highest quality hops from the Hallertau at a refreshing 30 IBU. The first impression on the palate is pleasant and satisfying, followed by the balanced bitterness and aroma of the hops, which is more floral than tart; with its luminously golden yellow color, this an impeccable example of a traditional Bavarian Pils.

Servida en copa pilsen, color dorado claro, limpio, cristalino y transparente, espuma blanca de buena retención. Aroma a Malta, cereal, pan blanco, hierba seca. En boca es de entrada maltosa y y retrogusto decididamente amargo y herbal. El final es amargo y astringente. Para ser una pilsner tiene carácter. Buena

Very pale blond colour with lasting fluffy head. There's a light honey malt sweetness but also a bitter, noble hop note throughout. Really easy to drink and well balanced.

On tap at Map Room. Pours a orange gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is grass and citrus. Medium body, grass, cereal, light finish, good.

Weihenstephaner Pils, Flasche von Ambrosetti. - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase pilstypisch frische aber eher milde hopfenwürzige und grasige Herbe über zarter heller Malzigkeit. - Antrunk frisch grasig und zitrusfruchtig hopfenherb mit solider hopfenwürziger Bittere, nicht mehr mild aber noch nicht knackig. Feines helles Malz, leichte Restsüße, zart süßsauer. Gut rezent, nicht so schlank wie ein norddeutsches Pils. Im Abgang solide Hopfenherbe. - Für ein bairisches Pilsner sehr solide gehopft aber ein wenig zu bemüht korrekt, ohne die spritzig-knackige Herbe der besten norddeutschen aber auch ohne die liebenswerte Malzigkeit und eigenwillige Hopfung so mancher fränkischen Vertreter dieser Gattung. Kurz gesagt: etwas steif. (Neubewertung: 8.2.2022.)

Bottle from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours gold with a white head. Med body or nearly. Flavor is moderate breadiness with a pleasing level of Saaz hop. Clean, crisp, bitter. Quite tasty.
