This wonderful rich stout is made with freshly roasted Columbian coffee beans from our friends Mozzo in Southampton.
Kick-start pours an opaque black and the aroma is dark roasted malts with a big kick of coffee/espresso.
The taste leads with full-bodied dark roasted coffee upfront and oats inject a nice smooth texture to finish.

Previously called Radicale Oat and Coffee Stout.

From tap at De Markies, Leeuwarden. Aroma is big roasty coffee and roasted malt with grindy coffee, touch of chocolate and liquorice. Body is medium. Nice roasty bitterness, tasty blast of coffee supported by roasted malt.

Cask at the Nag’s Head, Reading on 30th June 2023. Solid, impenetrably black with light brown foam and spot lacing. Rich, roasty malts aroma. Fresh wholebean coffee in-mouth with a suggestion of ripening cherries. A lasting finish of fresh roasty malt. Full bodied with an engaging texture.

Half-pint, cask at Alehouse. Shared with Finn. Decent beige head over a black body, spotty lacing. Smell of roasted black chocolate, mid-sweet and smoothly roasted. Tastes fine with a mix of chocolate and coffee. Roasted dark malty ending. Fine depth to it. Nice. (Reading 19.11.2021).

Mwoah. Dikke smaak hoor, maar wat meer alcohol had er wel voor gezorgd dat de bitterheid wat minder lomp zou aankomen. Nu is het een beetje alsof je houtskool met aspirine aan het degusteren bent.

Keg @ Tap & Can. Pours dark, creamy off-white head. Aroma has plenty of coffee and roast. Good coffee bitterness coming through to taste, dark chocolate, gently soft textures, mild sweetness coming through. Good.

Keg at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Very dark brown with a thin tan head. Coffee and marshmallows on the nose, with a bit of chocolate and candy sugar. Taste is unsurprisingly sweet, but not impossibly so, with the coffee notes dominant in the finish. Slight sourness of yeast extract in the aftertaste. Full body and carbonation. Lovely.
