Light pine and some citrus. Golden pour with great head and lacing like Victoria’s Secret. Light bitter finish. Tap at Churchkey.

On tap at Arizona Wilderness, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out a good mix of piney and resinous hops upfront, with a subdued dry biscuity malt backbone. Flavour is along the same lines, with loads of piney and resinous hops upfront, followed by dry biscuity malt. Balanced well, clean and with loads of depth. Excellent by-the-books American IPA.

Nonic pint type draft at the brewpub in Gilbert, Arizona. The pour is a slight haze golden orange with a foamy white head. The aroma is fruity bright citrus hop, some grass and a nice background of biscuit malt. The taste is the bright fruit citrus hops, adds a bit of pine and finishes dry with the grass. The biscuit malt is present, and provides a great backbone to the beer. The palate is medium bodied with active carbonation and the dry clean finish. Nice one.

Draught @ Festival of Dankness, San Diego. Aroma is quite interesting with some herbal tones, grass and minerals. Flavour has minerals, herbal tones and some harsh bitterness. Not that fruity and not exactly my thing.

Growler thanks to Ilya! Pours a clear amber red with an orange hue with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of dankness with pine and a hint of grapefruit. Flavor has bitter pine and resin with a good amount of dankness and a hint of grain.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 3/7/14

Aroma: It has a big west coast hop aroma of pine/resin, juicy citrus/grapefruit, and some grass
Appearance: It pours a clear golden-orange color with a mid-sized head and lace on it
Flavor: The taste is right on-style, big hop bitterness, citrus/grapefruit, just dank and yummy
Palate: The body is medium-plus, it has a clean, smooth feel, and a long, dry finish
Overall Impression: Excellent example of a west-coast style IPA. It has a really nice aroma and an even better flavor. I really enjoyed this.

Growler from Daknole, consumed fresh. Pours clear orange with a medium white head, creamy and nice lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, passionfruit, mango, dank with notes of cat piss. How I like it :). Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, a touch of grain perhaps. Not harsh, but a bit of a lingering bitter finish. Medium body. Nice effort; would have been exceptional as recently as a couple of years ago.
