Can from mail order from France44.com. Date stamped 9/22/2016 so evidently 4 months old. A: Pale gold pour with a finger of tight white foam. Good retention. Busy bubbles and nice lacing. S: Pils malt cracker scent. Mild grass or herb. T: Tastes sort of pils-esque too. A floral hop note along with sour bread dough. Some bitter lemon pith in the finish. M: Light crisp and refreshing. Short doughy finish. O: Nice light session ale with more similarity to a hoppy pils than a SIPA. Worth trying.

Can bought at the brewery during my trip to Denver. Odell Loose Lead Session Ale 4.5% A bright crystal clear gold with a fizzy white head. The aroma is quite an interesting mix of fruity (peach fuzz) and earthy minty pine. The flavor is similar but it’s joined by a dose of rustic breadiness. A pretty decent beer and I’ve gotta say I love Odell’s labels but this is the weakest of their beers I brought back to Japan. Just a buck fifty though so no biggy.
