Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to mug.
Appearance: dark brown color with a two and a quarter fingers of eggshell white foamy head which dissipated at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet bready malts with a clean earthy character in the background
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine variety of different sweet qualities; finishes dark bready with a little bit of dryness
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; good smoothness with a little bit of dryness but mostly non-offensive
Overall: I say a good Munich Dunkel I would return to.

Very dark brown with a large foamy beige head that faded quickly. Bready and yeasty with almost an apple note. Long finish. Medium body.

Bottle picked up at the Kloster. Brown with a creamy, white head. Aroma of toasted grains with earthy overtones and a hint of prunes. Caramel too, but fairly restrained. Taste is roasted bitter throughout. Lingering bitter finish with a touch of ash. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Very nice Dunkles.

Bottle from Raynville Superstore. It pours deep reddish - brown with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is toasty, earthy roast, bitter - sweet character, malt loaf, molasses, dried fruits and toasted fruit cake. The taste is crispy, fairly snappy, toasty, earthy roast, bitter - sweet, dried fruits, sultana, raisin, toasted fruit cake, touch of tannin, malt loaf, toasty brown bread, ryvita, and spice with a dry, slightly bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Flavourful, rounded and moreish. A classy dunkel.

Bottle from the Packie. Pours a deep copper color with a decent sized off white head that persists. Rich toasty bready maltiness with light dried fruits and hints of earthy spicy hopes to counter. Nice Dunkel.
