Thanks TimE for sharing the bottle! Poured into a wine glass showing light caramel brown with translucent rims and half a finger of latte colored foam. The nose shows a lot of pumpkin pie like spices - cinnamon, cardamom, etc. The palate is medium bodied and moderately carbonated. Flavors of vanilla, pumpkin spice, and light gingerbread upon warming up. Highly tart with an almost indian curry-like influence.

Bottle. A hazy, dark amber colored beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head leaving lacings. The aroma has some cocoa notes, there’s a touch of balsamic vinegar, there’s dark berries and also some red ones. It’s full-bodied, lightly tart and with a herbal, berryish touch and some vinegar hints. Roasted notes and cocoa. Lasting finish. Quite lovely and tasteful this one. Complex and sure well worth a revisit. 150718

Bottle 375ml @ Geokkjer
Pours dark reddish brown with a small off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, tartness, citrus, caramel and hint of fruits. Taste is medium sweet and medium to heavy sour with a long dry, sour, caramel and fruity finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Rich super dark brown coloured body with a rich amber glow and a thin, almost non-existent tan head. Aroma of sour grapes, cherries, yeast, gueuze and a bit of other funk - nice. Medium-bodied; Assertive sour notes with a little grass, some cherries, raspberries, yeast and a hint of sweetness - nice throughout. Aftertaste shows mostly sour flavours altogether with a rich caramel sweetness and a very tiny amount of squash flavours, but not the body nor complexity of the malt. Overall, a goodish sour/wild beer, but not showing much/any of the pumpkin notes and only slightly complex and pungent - this is more of a sour beer with hints of pumpkin and complexity. I sampled this 37,5 cL split bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 08-November-2014 for US$11,50 sampled at home in Washington on 13-July-2015.
