Moderne ravfarvet ale med utilsløret amerikansk islæt. Lidt mere end bare en IPA, men ikke mere end at den kan nydes af alle, som kan lide en velhumlet øl. Intens floral aroma med duftnoter af citrus, harpiks, frugt og fyrrenåle følges op af en fyldig smag, som suppleres med noter af malt, nødder og karamel. Det hele er holdt sammen af en god fast bitterhed. IPA er en rigtig nydelsesøl for entusiaster og er en velegnet ledsager til mad, der har en vis sødme, f.eks. retter med barbecue og sur/søde saucer.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is fresh grassy, lawn, leafs, pine needles, sap, hops, moss. Taste is slightly harsh grassy, bark, grass, harsh hops, pine needles, soap, weeds, old leafs. Longlasting bitterness, dry harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle at Cardinal. Taste not too sweet despite some caramel. Nice malty-fruity aroma and taste. American hops quite prominent, well balanced.

Bottle @ Too many Geuze’s - only one toilet , Ulfborg 2012. Hazy amber/orange color with a nice, lasting off white foamy head. Rich fruity hopas aroma, some grass. Flavor is similar but not as intense as the aroma. Bitter dry finish.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.5%, IBU 70. OG 1070, FG 1014. Hops are Cascade, Nugget, Columbus, Amarillo and Simcoe. Hazy orange colour, large head, slightly off-white. Strong aroma of fruity American hops, notes of oranges and pine. The flavour has some sweetness but not too much, and has still enough malts to support the fruity and piney hops. Very bitter finish. Not a bad IPA this one.

Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a small sightly off-white fluffy head. Aroma is fruity, floral and mild sweet malts to it as well. Flavour is caramel malts, some citrus, mild floral notes as well as honey and some nectar. Fruity and citrusy bitter aftertaste. Pleasant IPA, which is not overdoing the hops for once.
