Cask at Mable’s Tavern near King’s Cross. Medium amber color with an off-white head. Light floral hop aroma. Light fruity flavor, followed by mild roasted caramel, and, suddenly, decent hop. Finishes nicely bitter, if a tad metallic. Quite nice.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Deep amber coloured with a short-lived, yet lively white head. Aroma had some grassy hops with a lick of caramel. Light mouth feel with some bready malt and a lightly hoppy, dry finish, marred by a metallic note.

Bottled (4.5%). Deep orangeish golden colour with mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is grainy, ashes, zest, some mild notes of nectar. Flavour is grass, citrus and some mild paperyness. As it warms up some nuttyness and mild herbal notes also become present. Not much aftertaste.

Orange-copper brown color, small mostly vanishing white head. Odd stale aroma: ash and paper with hints of orange. Typical Shepherd Neame -flavor: nutty hoppy with "hard water mouthfeel". Ashy with light citrusy fruityness (mandarin) in the finish. Overall quite light - propably is much better from cask, now gives out very "filtered" and lame clean flavors. This beer is propably ok after sauna or with spiced food.
