Think: fresh baked rye bread in a bottle with a hint of lemon and spice from the hops and yeast.

Cloudy brown beer. Good pale tan head. Smooth palate, creamy. Lots of smooth tangy rye malt, not spicy. Malt cream. A little orange hops. Light soft finish. Okay but I really thought there would be more going on here. Disappointing.

Aroma has resin, some fruity notes and bready malt. Flavour has resin, some bready malt, and distant berry notes. Weird stuff.

Pours dark orange with a small head. Aroma of bready malts, hints of lemon, fruits and hops. Taste is malty and sweetish with spicy notes, hints of rye and lemon. Finish is malty with hints of rye and sweet syrupy notes. Decent, a bit unbalanced.

Draft. Cloudy amber color, small tan head. Beautiful aroma of rye seeds and baking rye bread with light spice. Taste doesnβt quite live up to the expectations after that aroma, plain caramel malt.

650ml bottle. Cloudy, minimally reddish, dark amber to brown colour with average, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lacing, off-white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma, caramel malty undertones, maybe a touch of dusty, scruffy rye. Taste is minimally roasty dark malty, dry, a touch of spelt, intensening dry, dusty spelt note; lively micropre carbonation.

Bomber bought @ Bierkompass.de. Pours hazy dark brown with a frothy beige head that leaves some thick lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sweet and fruity with dark bread, pears in sugar syrup, gummi candy, green apple skin, cinnamon, lemon zest and rye flour. Taste is sweet, fruity and spicy with rye flour, black pepper, canned pears and apples, dark bread, liquorice, spearmint, lemon zest, almonds, dried fruit sponge cake and hints of dried apricots and canned mandarin oranges. Mouthfeel is round, creamy and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and slightly malty with dark rye bread, spearmint, orange and lemon zest, canned pears, lemon grass, black pepper and liquorice root. Weird but decent.
