Baskwadder Dubbel is een Donker, roodbruin bier. De smaak is kruidig en complex met een evenwichtige bitterheid op het eind. Een toets van stout is terug te vinden zowel in de geur als in de smaak. Baskwadder Dubbel bevat verschillende hopsoorten: Target, Styrian Goldings en Hallertau. Baskwadder dubbel is hergist op fles. Hierdoor evolueert de smaak en zal nog wat zachter worden door even te laten liggen. Bevat 6.8% alcohol.

Bottle from the brewery. Dark brown colour, creamy beige foam. Nose of raisins, sweet malts, caramel. Taste is medium sweet, some fruitiness, hoppy bitter finish. Well balanced. Good.

Zythos 2018. Hazy chestnut with a lasting white head. Aroma of toffee and biscuit with a roasted note. Sweet malty flavour with spicy and phenolic notes.

Beetje waterachtig maar toch eigen karaktertje. Gaat richting koffie / chocolade stout maar gelukkig net niet erover.

Thanks! Sampled bottled @ Modeste 2017. Dark red amber, tanned head. Nose is weird herbal bark chemical syrup. Carbonation is so massive, really awful kills a lot of the thin taste which is good since it tastes like rotting bark, spoiled fruit & fish.

Bottle. Pours cloudy deep brown. Small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, breadish. Bitter, toasted malty. Lingering caramelish. Toasted and dry malty finish.

F: huge, off-white, good retention. C: dark, opaque. A: malt, light coffee, cocoa, chocolate, dark bread, a bit of fruity. T: malt, roasted malt, light mocha, chocolate, cocoa, quite dry on the palate, decent bitterness, good, enjoyed, medium body, medium carbonation, 33cl bottle from ZBF 2017 Leuven.

At zythos 2017. Pours caramelbrown. Small white head smell is rich, gingerbread , complex dark sugars. Taste is bit roasty, crisp, bermalts underneath a layer of roast. Ok

Bottle. Brownish color with beige head. Aroma is grainy, bready, coffee, quite aromatic. Taste is coffee, bready, straw. Medium carbonation, oily mouthfeel. Interesting, but not exactly my flavours.

Sampled @ Zythos Bier Festival 2017. Klare orange braune Farbe. Geruch schokoladig, Karamell, dunkle Früchte. Geschmack süß malzig, Karamell, Erdnüsse, Schokolade.
