With our 2XIPA, a massive dry hop brings a feverishly hoppy and well-balanced Double IPA. Citrusy hops tease the senses with big aromatics and certifiable bitterness. An enormous haul of hops, including Simcoe and Citra, deliver notes of grapefruit, lemon and doughy sweetness. Double your expectations because this is an ale that demands reverence.

Can bought in PA from a drive through beer store, drunk in the hotel in VA Beach. Dark yellow amber, decent lacy head. Malty dank citrus nose. Big West Coast flavor, although the bitterness is not too massive, it's a bit on the sweet side of balance. Not the smoothest bitter character but okay. Quite drinkable after a hot baseball game watching the Tides destroy the Stripers within one nine-run inning!

Outstanding aroma of every imaginable citrus fruit you can think of, with some light alcohol. The flavor is pungent, sweet with traces of malt. Sweet juicy hops, this really is a grat beer for hop addicts. But the finish is a little watery, and a touch metallic. Good but not great.

Old note. Golden, white foam. Aroma and taste: hoppy and malt, good malt profile, tropical-fruity, orange and pine, not bad.

Unsure of where this one came from. Halftime? Headed into a globe glass, a clear, strong gold with the barest ring of silvery bubbles. I smell something woodsy and piney. The drink is strongly grapefruit with lemon perhaps, dry crackers, malt and hops. A heavy dose of bitterness, old time IPA obviously. Good but it ends there.

Orange, barley malt, pine, and grapefruit peel aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with moderate light tan head. Moderately sweet orange, lemon-lime, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel and pine flavor. Good body. Standard.
