Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is slight dog food, malty earthy, pale malt, cookie dough. Taste is intense fruchtgummi sweetness, with some herbal tartness. A bit harsh and heavy. Still quite ok and drinkable.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and medium-sized foamy head. Strawy malty and delicately buttery malt aroma with shades of vanilla and flowery hops. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Strawy and slightly honey-ish cara-malty base with delicately herbal and flowery hops in the background; sweet malty finish with a light but still balancing hops character. Surely not the best but also not the worst pale bock in Franconia. 24.III.17

Trotzdem vielen Dank an wastl!

Bottle: Deep golden to light amber coloured, medium sized fluffy head, slowly diminishing; faint caramelly aroma with a tinge of alcohol; quite full bodied, sweetish flavour; short, sweet caramelly and brandy-like finish with very little bitterness in the aftertaste. Not bad, but there are better Bocks in beautiful Franconia,,,,,,,
