Bottle. Golden, offwhite lace. Flawless nice fruity well balanced pale bock. Nice grassy hops.

Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is slight dog food, malty earthy, pale malt, cookie dough. Taste is intense fruchtgummi sweetness, with some herbal tartness. A bit harsh and heavy. Still quite ok and drinkable.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and medium-sized foamy head. Strawy malty and delicately buttery malt aroma with shades of vanilla and flowery hops. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Strawy and slightly honey-ish cara-malty base with delicately herbal and flowery hops in the background; sweet malty finish with a light but still balancing hops character. Surely not the best but also not the worst pale bock in Franconia. 24.III.17

Pours a clear dark golden with a white head. Aroma is malty, bready, some caramel.

50cl bottle. Pours clear deep golden colour with a mid-sized most good lasting white head. Aroma of pale strong malt, soft fruits, grains. Taste of grains, strong pale malt, some fruits and mild bitter hops.

Schöne goldgelbe Farbe im Glas. Der Geruch ist ziemlich neutral-würzig. Im Antrunk ist das Bier süßlich-würzig. Zum Hauptteil kommt aber eine ziemlich prägnante alkoholische Note hinzu, die schon etwas stechend wirkt. Dazu eine deutliche Herbe, die aber schon ins muffige geht. Der Nachgeschmack ist muffig-herb und alkoholische-scharf. Dabei leicht malzig-süßlich und relativ würzig.  Sehr aromenreich, aber für meinen Geschmack durch die alkoholische Note und penetrante Herbe doch auch sehr unangenehm. Interessant, aber gewöhnungsbedürftig! Trotzdem vielen Dank an wastl!

Bottle: Deep golden to light amber coloured, medium sized fluffy head, slowly diminishing; faint caramelly aroma with a tinge of alcohol; quite full bodied, sweetish flavour; short, sweet caramelly and brandy-like finish with very little bitterness in the aftertaste. Not bad, but there are better Bocks in beautiful Franconia,,,,,,,
