Bottle. Under the name "Peculiar Ale". The best way I could describe this one is a malty flavored fruit cake. Deep, dark color, even the head and lace is dark. The aroma is fruity, citrus, with dark malt. A good holiday beer.

Dry green hops, juicy hops. Lots of xmas spices. The spices impart a specific dryness I was not expecting. The mouth feel is viscous and thicker and expected also. The finish is quite dry and on the low end of bitter. The spices last through, with a bit of bread malts in the finish also.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Nutmeg and ginger in the aroma. Spicy flavor (nutmeg, ginger) with notes of pure chocolate. Earthy hops clearly noticed, in spite of the omnipresent spices. Lack of balance in this beer, but the flavor isn’t too bad.
