A wheat ale inspired by the German Weisse. The foam is lightweight, compact and tends to be abundant while the scent is very light and aromatic. It has sour taste with hints of lactic fermentation, slightly bitter hops.

750 ml bottle. Cloudy golden orange body with a white head. Aroma has grain, wheat and a hint of yeast. Flavor is sweet and style correct wheat, but quite weak and plain. Medium body, short aftertaste. Drinkable but rather uninspired.

Bottle at home. The colour is hazy, dark, matt straw with a whipped eggwhite-like, off-white and medium head. Sweet and fruity aroma with banana, citrus, hay and some spices. More citrus in the flavour along with wet hay, and is a little sour. Has a light and silky mouth feel, and a light bitterness. An easy-drinking, light and fresh weizen.

Appearance: Cloudy yellow color with a big white head that leaves an ok lacing.
Aroma: Wheat, yeast, banana and light spicy.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Wheat, mild banana, a bit spicy and mild fruity.
Overall impression: Felt a little bit more acidic than a normal hefe weisse. A mix between hefe weisse and wit. Nice and refreshing.
Personal stats: Bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika in Oslo, Norway.

Gusher. Huge white head. Muddy pale yellow body. Fruity mealy mineraly aroma with papery herbal notes. Dry-sweet mealy orangey taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy, flat mouthfeel. Dryish mealy papery orangey aftertaste with spicy herbal notes. Easy to drink, but a little boring. (0.75l bottle, wine monopoly, web order.)

Shared 750ml bottle, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pale yellow body, wheat haze with a cloud lag. Huge white head, some of it remaining. Spiced fruity aroma. Coriander, wheat and lemony hops in the flavour profile. Sweet ending balanced with hints of citrus peels. Refreshing. Summer feel (Tårnrom session, Tromsø 03.06.2013).

750ml bottle@XXIX Rating Session 03.06.13. Cool bottle and label design. Cloudy light yellow body with huge rocky head. Instant aroma of grass, peach, nectarine, lemon and vanilla, which is mirrored in taste as well, with some additional notes of coriander and raisin. Thanks for sharing Rune&Finn!

Ingen nellik&banan. En lettdrikkelig crossover mellom wit og weissbier.
