In your hands, you are holding yet another hop monster of a beer brewed in San Diego County. Yes, we know this is hardly original. But, we love hops as much as you do so let's party! This beer oozes hop oils, aromas and flavors. We hope it's a worthy addition to the riche that is the Port Brewing family of beers. We look forward to this annual release each May and hope you will too.

Aroma of citrus, orange, caramel, pine resin, floral notes, malt, big hops.. Flavour is moderate sweet with a bitter finish. One to sip on slowly, it doesn’t drink easily at all. Be prepared to take some time... Another thick and heavy hop bomb from Port Brewing.

Deep golden amber color. Stonefruit, earthy, piney nose that exudes malty sweetness. No question this is a big iiipa. Tons of stonefruit, wood, pine, citrus and earthiness, with underlying resininess. Big hoppiness and big malt to back it up. It's somewhat balanced, a bit boozy and warming. Overall it's huge and sticky. It's kinda what I expected a 10-11% iiipa would be and generally I don't see the point of making this type of beer, but I like Port so hoping they could do something unique. I think if it was pizza port it would be something very unique. This is good but not truly my thing

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours a cloudy orange with medium frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is citrus, spruce, grass. Medium body, grapefruit, grass, lingering bitterness, very good.

American beers tasting at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours golden with white foam. Aroma, in addition to some herbaceous and resinous, shows alcohol. Taste conforms that, with loads of bitterness and a rather during alcoholic feeling. Extreme. Somehow unbalanced. -- rated with beerbasher/winphone

Bottle (as Anniversary Ale), 11% ABV (from beergium). Pours amber with beige head. The head stays, nice lacing. Aroma is very hoppy, citrus, pine, caramel, Flavor is sweet and bitter, pine, citrus, malt, booze, some floral hops. Finish is resin bitter with some alcohol. Drinkability is decent, but it’s too boozy for my taste. Overall: ok.
