Cask gravity at Pig’s Ear Beer Fest 2014. Light hazed yellow / straw coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is earthy straw, earthy orange peel, a bit zesty. Flavour is composed of pale grains, orange peel citrus, grain tanin. Palate is fairly light, moderate carbonation. A bit grainy on the tongue. Lingering earthy citrus. Pretty good.

Cask gravity at Pig’s Ear 2014. It pours clear gold with a small white head. The nose is toasted grain, juicy fruit, pear, apple, melon, honey and candy. The taste is sweet, mild bitterness, toasted grass, straw, orange peel, grapefruit, apple and varnish with a dry, citrussy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent golden, but I doubt I doubt I would be able to pick it out in a crowd of similar type beers.

Bottle@Beer Rebellion, Gipsy Hill, London - golden pour with healthy puffy white head. Fruity citrus floral and grassy aroma and taste, some crisp lemon and pineapple on the palate, highly quaffable refreshing brew. Great to see another South London brewer producing the goods.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, dry and crisp. Dark orange and grapefruit fruit and peel. Little resin. Bitterish floralness. Light semi dry finish. Yep this Golden wants to stand up and be counted. Good show!
