Tap at Monyo. Classic West Coast-style DIPA; resinous hoppy and biscuity malty at the same time. The booze starts to stand out as it warms, but it’s not that disturbing. Light to medium body, average carbo.

Tap at Munich Tap House, 11th October 18. Couldn't get a can of this in Oslo last month, so nice to find it on tap in Munich. Pours a copper colour, light small white head. Aroma is malty, bitter burnt sugar, caramel. Taste is sweetish to start, some caramel, burnt sugar, then the bitterness follows and lingers. It's full and oily and the bitter finish is welcome. Not bad.

Pours dark orange from the can. Frothy, sticky white head turns thin but lingers. Aroma is a medley of tropical fruits with caramel undertones. Taste is bittersweet with a somewhat marshmallow texture. Finishes with increasing bitterness and a light warmth. The alcohol remains hidden. Nice.

33cl can @ Labirratorium. Cloudy amber color, off-white head with good retention. Aroma has notes of resins with orange peel and grapefruit. Flavor with a strong bitterness, orange peel light peachy and caramelish hints. Decent bitterness in the final with good astringency.
