50cl bottle from Alko Arkadia. BBE 04/01/15. Hazy amber, thick white head. Aroma is slightly vinous, bready malty and tropical fruitiness. Flavor has piney hops, grass, malt and alcohol. Ok balance, but alcohol is coming through too much.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - BBE 04.01.15, from Alko Arkadia, 20130507) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized, long lasting and almost white. Aroma had exotic fruits, peach and malts. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, sweetness, malts and btterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, sweet and bitter. Alcohol was a bit too strongly present but otherwise pretty tasty double IPA:

Lyst bittert øl fullt av sitrus smak. Godt øl som nok faller bedre i smak hos ipa elskere en hos meg.

Bottle in our quirky Oslo Hotel. Hazy amber beer, little off white head. Light crisp palate. Very light for it’s abv. Smooth hops but with presence. Sweet grass and pine. Just a trace of tropical fruits. Minerals and creamy malt. Semi dry finish with very mild bitter linger. In a world of big heavy DIPAs this one stands out for it’s lightness, also for hiding the abv. Dangerously drinkable.

Bottle at Kontoret. Pours a very hazy dull amber colour with a medium off-white head. Aromas of sweet malt, dried fruit, hops, rye, and some esters. Find much of the same stuff in the flavor but is more sweet with addition of alcohol, wood, oak, and leather. A slick mouthfeel. The beer is nicely balanced with a rich and malty taste. A lovely double IPA.

Bottle, 9.0%. Caramelly aroma. The flavour is grainy and teaish, but also with a rough graininess and alcohol note. Cloudy amber colour, small white head. Also quite roasted, but roughly so again.

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, malt, caramel, and lemons. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, caramel, alcohol, hops, and lemons, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.
