With its lightly copper-tinted foam and amber red color, the character of this Collesi Rossa Craft Beer is unmistakable. Obtained from select malts and hops, unpasteurized and naturally bottle conditioned, Collesi Rossa Craft Beer distinguishes itself with the intense aromas of caramel, dark spices, malt and toasted hazel nuts. Its prolonged aromatic persistence combines a sweet taste enriched with mineral notes.

Bottle: Poured a reddish/amber color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of caramel malt notes with stem fruity notes. Taste is also a mix of caramel and fruity notes with light yeasty notes. Body slight with good carbonation. Strong amber ale with limited flavor profile.

330ml bottle 3 years past BBE but lets just say nicely aged! Pours dark brown, no head of note. Aroma is malty, toffee, liquorice, honey. Taste is sweet honey, dried fruits and liquorice, wood, pepper, modest background bitterness. I think there needed to be more bitterness to balance the sweetness here. Very light for an 8% and carbonation is minimal. Its like they had the basis of a good beer but didn't bother to improve it, so its a bit shoddy in truth but fairly pleasant in taste.

Bottle from Low Cost Beer online. Pours clear brown with a thin white head. Aromas of nuts, sherry, red fruit. Taste is slightly jammy, some toffee. Lightly oxidized, not surprising given the bbe date, but I think it works nicely with the style.

4/4/2021. Bottle shared at the first post-lockdown Ipswich beer share. From LowCostBeer.com. Well past its bb date but was surprisingly good. Poured slightly cloudy pale red with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma was sweet, caramel, dried fruit, malt, plum, molasses, brown bread and rich fruit cake. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweet toffee finish.
