The foam of this elegant Collesi Bionda Craft Beer is rich, creamy, and at the same time, very fine-grained and with a pleasantly light consistency. Its body is full and well-rounded. Obtained from Pilsen-Munich malt, unpasteurized and naturally bottle conditioned, Collesi Bionda Craft Beer releases the aromas of yeast, vanilla, freshly baked bread and honey. And it reveals fruity notes and strong hints of hop blossom and malt on the palate

Refrigerated 0.5 L fancy brown bottle poured into a glass. Hazy light orange with small white head. Aroma is light banana, medium/light carbonation, and very little lacing. Taste is banana, yeasty, and some orange. Way over priced ($13).

This was ok for the discount price I paid, around $2. Gold color; nice head, a good looking beer and the Italians always do a nice job with the bottle presentation. Well carbonated. Light hops and some malt is there, a little citrus; I guessed it was an English pale ale so I don’t think I was far off.

10.03.2014, 0,5l bottle (labled Collesi Imper Ale Chiara) shared with friends @ home:
Opens with a boom, explosive gusher. Small shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grainy, light malts, caramel, hay, weeds, yeast, grain, flowers, honey. Taste is sweet, light malts, weeds, harsh hay, honey, yeast, caramel, grass. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Kind of boring.
