*Nice and not too sweetish beginning. Fresh malty aroma, hints of vanilla, not too sweetish. Round and mild, the Whisky-Malt is there but a bit diffused. Round and mild aftertaste of moderate sweetness. Nice though.

0.33 l bottle from local ’LIDL’, best before October 2017. Clear, golden amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, malty, slightly grassy-floral aroma of honey, grains, straw, vanilla and some caramel. Rather sweet, malty taste of honey, caramel, candied fruits and some vanilla, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, a little grassy and minimally warming finish. Medium to full body, slightly oily and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice Heller Bock, again better than expected. Overall, the recent Maltos series has left quite an impression on me (considering how cheap it is), although I liked the other two beers better.

(bottle, 33cl) Slightly hazy, deep golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Malty aroma with oaky notes of vanilla, butterscotch and a whiff of booze. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Oak-flavoured malt character with notes of caramel, vanilla and shy piney accents; sweet malty and delicately bitter hoppy finish with notes of vanilla, herbal spice and a tinge of alcohol. Not a must. 19.XII.16

Süßlicher, trocken herber Beginn mit eher künstlichen Whiskynoten. Alkoholische Tendenzen, trocken holzig, kurzer Nachhall. Nicht ganz ausgewogen. 8/8/7/7/9/7
