Bottled. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and bread, leading to a bitter finish.

330ml bottle. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, tropical fruits, pine. Taste of roasted malts, tropical, citrus fruits, a little dark chocolate, pine, resin, bitter finish. Medium body, fine carbonation. Good.

Draught @ MBCC '17 [ Green Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Copenhagen Celebration 2017, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark. [ As Edge Brewing Blacklight ].Unclear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, pine, spruce, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, wood, pine, roasted, citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20170513] 8-3-8-3-15

pitch dark, smooth light brown heaad. hard roasted malts aroma with heavy bitter hops, slightly flowery hops. notes of rye, perhaps coffee,fainter notes of dark brunt caramel. flavor is roasted malts, lots of coffee, bitter hops, very bitter from cofee and hops.

From tap. Pours hazy dark br9wn t9 black, small brown head. Aroma is roasted dark malty. Bitter, dark roasted. Grapefruity and roasted malt. Bitter and roasted dark finish.

Walked into Averi Beers in Varna, Bulgaria and they had it on tap. Bought immediately. Shared with lovely Anja and Our K&K Igor when they joined me. Dark coca-cola colour, almost black, small off-white head. Moderately hopped, pine, resin, light herbal. Fairly bitter, fresh, fruity, roasted malts underneath, the balance going to the dry side. Medium body, moderate carbonation, fresh, dry and roasty finish. Really nice and balanced.

330ml bottle picked up at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Tan-coloured head remaining over a coal black body with a deep ruby tint. Dotted spots on the glass. Delicate smell of roasted malts and dark fruits. Blended taste of pine, liquorice, ash and coffee. Roasted bitterness to the ending. Medium plus bodied. Well pleased with this one. 7-4-7-4-14 (Tromsø 04.11.2017).

Level 42 Bottleshare. Opaque brown beer, big tan head. Palate is airy and fairly dry, good fine carbonation. Fluffy dark malts, some earthyness. Mellow dark chocolate. Light piney hop. Trace of citric hop. Airy dry and mildly bitter finish. Decent.

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Svart. Middels høyt skum med litt farge. Bra fruktaroma ispedd lakris. Smaken tørr sjokolade. Ekstra tørr ettersmak.
