Black color, minimal off-white head, short duration. Aroma has a high presence of coffee beans and licorice, roasted malts. Flavor is roasty, coffee taste at the beginning with a moderate bitterness in the final maintaining the roasted malts notes.

Keg at RS HW, 21/04/17. Light black with a decent tan head that clears to a swirl. Nose is liquorice, spice, light cocoa powder, charr, earthy. Taste comprises light pine, ashen tones, charr, spice, hint of red berry, chocolate rub. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Decent CDA.

Bottle shared on Level 42 26/07/2017. Many thanks to Kenny for this one. A black maghogany brown coloured pour with a lose dirty tan head. Aroma is big rubber petrol, pine, brown sugars, tar. Flavour is composed of brown sugars, tar, pine needle, dirty brown. Breads, rubber. Palate is frorhy carbonation, biter finish, . Lingering black roast.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Kenneth. Pours deep brown with a frothy, beige head. The aroma holds well roasted malts, cocoa, earth, pine. Light to medium sweet flavour with notes of burnt wood, burnt toffee, bitter chocolate, light roast, ash. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with light warmth, more burnt wood, toasty toffee, cocoa. Really nice.

Bottle at L42. It pours pretty dark - black with a thick light tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, plain chocolate, toasty, earthy, slight menthol note, liquorice and spice. The bitter, earthy, charred wood, ashy, burnt toast, pithy, zesty citrus, leather, twig and tannin with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Ok, but lacks a bit of cohesion.

Tap@MBCC May 2017, Copenhagen - black coloured pour with a tanned head. Roasted malty and hoppy, tropical fruits, prominent hoppy, grapefruit, pine needles, some caramel, cocoa, piney roasted bitter hoppy finish.
