Blacklight is our first adventure to the dark side of IPAs. A rich blend of dark malts, bold tropical, citrus and pine-laden hops help combine to create a new dimension of IPA flavor. Left as unadulterated as possible this brew is complex yet refined.

On tap at TCBW, Tallinn. Dark mahogany, close to black, with a bubbely beige head. Roasty and soldy hoppy aroma with licorice, pine, citrus and hints of coffee. Moderate sweet with the hoppy flavours a tad dominating, but still a nice mixture. Refreshing and enjoyable BIPA.

Draught at CBF Wien 2017, shared by Werckmeister, thanks!
Black body, with a small, frothy, lacing, beige head.
Aroma of chocolate, nuts, some coffee, dark berries, some grapefruit.
Tastes quite similar, but a bit lighter, while hoppier.
Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes roasty-bitter, zesty, citric, with coffee, liquorice, some cocoa.

Really nice. Smooth, with a chocolatey and fruity nose, while the taste is pretty hoppy. Maybe lacking a bit balance, feels slightly harsh towards the finish. Overall still a very solid BIPA.
