Oneida is Hallertau Blanc-centric. The bright tropical fruit and lemongrass notes give it an uber-pungent aroma, with the grapefruity citrus of Cascade providing a touch of balance. We've also added experimental hop variety 05256 to the mix, adding a nice hop complexity while keeping it a drinkable pale ale. While more aggressively bitter than Fortunate Islands, Oneida still has a light body and moderate ABV. We're considering making Oneida our spring seasonal, but that's all kind of up in the air.

Pours hazy straw into a shaker. Bright white head with excellent retenion top hats, craters, and refuses to recede. Lemon and hay aromas. Crisp with biscuit and hay upfront turning to tropical fruit, mild resin and bitter pith in the lasting finish.

Tap at Hathor. Bright gold, clear, with a fine head. Nose of soft oranges, minerals. Flavor is just a bit vegetal, oranges, lemon, biscuity malt. Nice and tasty but not so exciting.

Draft at the source on 7/1/2016. Clear yellow color with a white head. Aroma is very faint - maybe faint citrus notes with mild pine. Taste follows nose. Very bland overall but very crush-able.

Draft at Mikkeller Bangkok. Poured a slightly hazy straw colour with a thin white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is weedy, grassy hop, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, smooth, somewhat watery, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

0.5l can. Hazy golden body, white head. Aroma of pine, mango, citruses and honey. Taste of honey, mango, citruses and peach. Very nice pale ale. I could session it.

Tap at Punavuoren Ahven, Helsinki. Colour is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, citrus, dryness, hops and malts. Clear but boring.

Can 500ml. [ As Modern Times Oneida ].Light light unclear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, hop oil, earthy hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, citrus - fruity, pale malt, fruity malt, earthy - old hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. At a tasting, thanks, small bubbly head, almost completley clear and a bit intense yellow color, citrusy grapefruit, woody aroma, citrusy flowery flavor and bitterness with a light fruity maltiness in the back. Really nice and fresh.
