Our Steam Lager is one of our most popular lines and you’re likely to see it on tap in many different establishments around Norfolk and beyond. Technically our Steam Lager is a hybrid beer – which means it’s brewed with lager yeast, but at ale temperatures. Combined with our special selection of hops – including Cascade and Bravo – this gives it a special malty quality with notes of citrus, as well as a deep caramel colour. We’ve gone the extra mile to give Steam Lager that special little something to set it apart from the rest.

Can from Tesco, Borehamwood. Golden-amber with a small head. Not a lot of lager character given its name, but it doesn’t disappoint with a good tropical fruitiness that’s best in its taste. Light textured.

33cl can from Tesco, Winkfield. A clear amber pour with a billowing white head; fruity hop aroma; fruity taste, but slightly soapy; with a dry floral hop finish. Exactly what I’d expect from a steam beer.
