0.33 l bottle from 'Bierhalle Deconinck', best before December 2019, cellared for about a year. Black with a thin, frothy, stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity, a bit vinous and a little roasty aroma of red berries, caramel and hints of chocolate. Quite sweet, malty, moderately roasty, slightly fruity and a little vinous taste of cocoa, red berries, caramel, red grapes and coffee, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly roasty, a little earthy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite unique, great cross-over, very quaffable for 11 % abv, very well-made, delicious beer!

Black with thin head. Aroma and flavour have lots of sweet Bourbon. Decent body. Luckily no obvious coconut.

At Zythos 2017. Pours black. Aroma is strong roasted malts, coffee and chocolate, a bit burnt. Body is heavy and burnt, but still with some coffee notes, also tar and ash. Rather sweet, yet only a little sticky. Palate lingers on sweet and bitter flavours, but not too clearly. Good.

Bouteille 33cl, merci à Tderoeck. BB 12/2019.
