Draught at KØ15. Black colour, seems unclear. Small light brown head. The flavour nicely bready, slightly vinous. A bit of lactose. Quite nice.

Fonefan 191214. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma is licorice, roasted malt, hop, coffee. Flavour is licorice, roasted malt, hop, coffee, chocolate, alcohol. Full body. Nice beer.

Draught, KØ15. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy but stable tan head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel, lactose and chocolate. Sweet flavour of chocolate and caramel malt,mwoth notes of lactose, roast and coffee. Sweetish afteraste. Decent.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Randers Tap Dancing Hippo ].Clear dark brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, whisky, sweet malt, light alcohol, wood - oak notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, chocolate, whisky, oak - wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20141219]

Bottle. An almost flat one, with an oily pour. Dark brown in color and some beige bubbles around the rim. The aroma is quite boozy, with licorice, molasses and roasted malts. Some peated sourness in the flavor, with coffee and roasted malts. Some chocolate notes. Oily, dry and full-bodied, almost flat. Lasting finish. Not very pleasant this one, unbalanced. 141219

Bottle 500ml @ fonefan
Pours almost black with a small tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and alcohol. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long warm, roasted, chocolate and caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

5/XII/14 - 50cl bottle @ De Hopduvel (Gent) - BB: XII/2020 (2014-1459) Thanks to Bobochamp for sharing the bottle!

Clear dark brown to black beer, no head. Aroma: sweet, caramel, chocolate, sugary, some vanilla, bit of alcohol. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, cocoa powder, pretty bitter, mocha touch, little sour, fruity touch. Aftertaste: alcohol, dried fruits, mocha, some coffee, hoppy bitterness, soft sour touch in the end.

Thick and black, small brown head. Aroma has roasted malt and licorice, coffee notes. Flavour has a good bitter sweet balance, more licorice and warming whisky notes. Evident alcohol, boozy finish.
