Next up, a lager. There are two schools of thought here, you can either keep it classic and nail the colours of Germany or the Czech Republic to the mast, or you can freestyle. Lost Lager is the best of both worlds. BrewDog Head of Production Jason Pond has spent months dialling in a brand new dry-hopped pilsner that has, at its heart, two secret weapons.
The first is the contemporary German hop variety Saphir – renowned for a vibrancy of citrus and stone fruit. The second is the deployment of lager yeast from the world-beating Weihenstephan. Conditioned for 28 days, Lost Lager is destined to be a crisp, clean pilsner with hints of spice and a zesty lime marmalade character. Prepare to lose yourself at the end of the month.

Straw blond with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have subtle hop notes that are floral and citrusy. Pleasantly bitter. Slight cardboard in the finish but overall it's very good.

Draught at The Pit: pours clear good with white head. Aroma is lemony with a bit of grass. Lightly bitter. Not auper flavorful, but pleasant and thirst quenching. Maltiness is pretty low as is sweetness.

At a tasting, thanks, medium stable bubbly head, hazy palish orange color, citrusy fruity flavor with some honey behind and a light to medium herbal bitterness. mellow honey aroma with some maltiness. Nice.

Tap at Brewdog, Bristol. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of grain, light fruit and light malt. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.

330ml can from Rolling Barrels in Moscow. Pours clear gold with a tall white head. Aroma is malt, grain and bread. Taste is light sweet, bready malt, straw. Nothing about it says craft. I’ve had better lagers from macro producers in beer deserts like Azerbaijan.

330ml can from Brewdog online. Yellow colour, white foamy head and hoppy citrus aroma. Taste is sweetish malty grain some biscuit and floral citrusy musky bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry hoppy bitter finish. Quite OK

Hazed golden pour with a fine head. Ok lacing. Malty and herbal aroma and flavor. Pleasant carbonation level and a decent bitterness. Easy and pleasant to drink.
