Bought from the Offie, Leicester and drunk at home. Browninsh gold and clear wih a quickly dissipating off-white head. Light grainy aroma, some yeasty bread and a bit of dried grass. Sweet taste, light and moreish, with a dry and slightly peppery finish. Lingering toffee notes on the aftertaste. Light body, medium to heavy carbonation. A very nice Christmas beer.

(bottle) Clear, deep golden to amber colour with a short off-white foamy layer. Slightly biscuity and nutty malty aroma with notes of caramel and shades of herbal hops. Mildly bitter and delicately sweet flavour, rather light bodied with a calm carbonation. Slim and mildly bready cara-malty taste with delicately nutty and hoppy accents; slim bitter-sweet finish. Decent Festbier. 10.I.17

Bottle. Amber-golden color with small head. Aroma is malty, honey, a bit nutty. Taste is mineraly, nutty, honey malts. Medium carbonation. Not bad, but Huppendorfer has better beers.
